Recently, exciting discoveries on the pathogenesis of vitiligo have been made by researchers using mouse models. In order to confirm these findings in humans, clinical data as well as biological samples are needed. This lecture will review the development of a robust database of patients with vitiligo with extensive clinical information as well as lesion measurements, activity markers, serum and skin samples. This registry can now be used by researchers, both in academia and industry, to confirm new discoveries in the lab.
